PadelHero is operated by Cogito Mutual Pte. Ltd. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our web application and mobile apps (collectively, the “Service”).

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Account information — name, email address, and password when you create an account. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
  • Profile information — player display name, club affiliations, and skill ratings that you or league administrators provide.
  • Match data — scores, sets, match dates, locations, opponents, and partners for matches you participate in or record.
  • Health data — heart rate information (average BPM, max BPM, effort zones) if you choose to import it from a CSV file. This data is entirely optional.
  • Device information — push notification tokens for delivering notifications to your device. We do not collect device identifiers, location data, or browsing history.
  • Usage data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for maintaining service reliability and security.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the Service — displaying match results, league standings, player profiles, and tournament brackets.
  • To send notifications — match approvals, schedule changes, league updates, and other events you are involved in.
  • To calculate ratings and statistics — personal performance metrics, win/loss records, and skill ratings.
  • To maintain security — preventing unauthorized access and abuse.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising purposes. We do not serve ads.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in an encrypted database hosted on secure infrastructure. All data in transit is encrypted via TLS/HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and are never stored in plain text. We retain your data for as long as your account is active.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google OAuth — for optional social sign-in. Google receives only the authentication request; we receive your name and email.
  • Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — for delivering push notifications to iOS and Android devices.
  • Web Push (VAPID) — for delivering push notifications to web browsers.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data — your profile, match history, and statistics are visible in the app.
  • Correct inaccurate data — contact us to update information you cannot edit yourself.
  • Delete your account and data — contact us at the email below to request full account deletion.
  • Export your data — contact us to receive a copy of your personal data.
  • Withdraw consent — you can disable push notifications in your device settings at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
